Had a delicious lunch here which was affordable and had a very generous serving. Simple but nice ambience and setting. The staff were friendly and nice with quick service too. Had a salad bar with a great selection of fresh salads and toppings which was a fantastic bonus !
I got served by Jennifer and she is nothing but rude. She swears behind the bar and acts as if you are putting her out by asking for a drink.
Absolutely ridiculous service to people trying to built up the slow run establishments
Beer battered Fish & Chips was cooked perfectly, soft in the middle and crunchy on the outside..
Coopers pint was cold , but slightly expensive at $10/pint...
Would've given the 5th star but the salad bar seemed like an after thought...
Stopped in a couple nights for food.
Good choice of stuff, the schnitzel is good, crispy and fresh and good size and value.
$12 calamari is also worthwhile, crispy and not at all chewy, could do with a better tartar than the masterfoods but that's being picky.
Decent selection of canned beers if you're not into the mid strength basics
Came here for a quick lunch on a road trip and I am very impressed by the food and the amazing price. There are specials which are only $12 for a great plate of foods. Unlike many other pubs now days, there is also a bistro where you’ll find warm bread and bistro foods like salads and pasta. I was very impressed by the iced chocolate aswell as beef schnitzels. The hotel is very roomy and comfy, lots of tables and a pokies gaming area.
We are usually a fan of your place. Not anymore, not sure if you have changed chefs or something. I had a chicken snitty with parmigiana topping with mash potatoe. First the chef got my order wrong and brought me beef. Then I realised it had definitely been microwaved hot and cool spots. The chicken is definitely not real chicken and smelled werid. They dont even grill the cheese properly on top. Everything is bought in frozen in bulk without a doubt. I rushed home and headed for the toliet and losing my meal. I think they are cutting corners and its effecting the quality and definitely the freshness of the food. Sorry wont be back.
Awesome lunch menu. We had calamari schnitzel which was delicious and Middle Pub chicken schnitzel (topped with prawns, avocado, sweet chilli and sour cream) was so good. Highly recommend. They also have $12 lunch specials.
We were able get a great Seafood Plate as a takeaway. There was enough for 2 people and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal.
